NSW Elections 2019

The current campaign for BPN is focused on the NSW State Elections on 23 March 2019.

Our aim is to raise planning across NSW as a central issue in public debate leading up to the elections, building on widespread community concern about both the quantity and quality of development.  To this end our NSW Elections Campaign Committee has identified the continued relevance of the Planning for People Community Charter developed by community groups in partnership with the Better Planning Network in 2014. We strongly encourage you to read and endorse this Charter here.  For every person or organisation that endorses the Charter, a letter is automatically sent to key NSW Elections candidates.

This Committee has also published a Candidates Planning Questionnaire for use by local groups in their state electorate.  If you need help with how best to use this questionnaire, please contact us at bpn@betterplanningnetwork.org.au and we will be pleased to provide guidance.

We welcome feedback from members and others on any aspect of our campaign through our website or our Facebook page.
