In this free workshop on Sunday 19 March 2017 from 4pm until 6:30pm, we will look at the NSW Government's proposed changes to planning laws. 

The public has until 31 March 2017 to comment on these proposed changes. 

The workshop will include a presentation by the NSW Environmental Defender's Office.  We will also hear from senior planner John Mant about the nature of the NSW planning and development system and whether it might be time to consider a different model altogether.  There will be ample opportunities for questions/comments and feedback from Better Planning Network members and affiliates will be encouraged.
